Absolutely none of the work staff was wearing a mask, groups of people gathering at the bar, tables were not adequately spaced to comply with social distancing. When we walked in, while wearing masks, we were told “masks are optional.” I asked the waitress why no one was wearing masks, her remark, “My Manager explained that if enough of us had a preexisting condition, which I have, we don’t to have to wear a mask.” It felt like a COVID-19 hot spot. Needless to say, we left.

Not a single employee in this restaurant wears a mask, even though it has been mandated by the State Governor, while Covid-19 numbers continue to rise in our state. When I addressed my concern with a woman who claimed to be “management,” she said all of her employees “have a medical condition” that prevents them from wearing a mask; all 10+ of them. We went here during a quick weekend trip to the area after a search on google. I left of comment on the page regarding COVID guidelines and they responded quickly. We pulled into the parking lot and almost left but are SO happy we didn’t do NOT be discouraged by the outside.
