Great shrimp plate - no one, not even the waitress wears mask. Looked up on internet, said eat between 3-5 pm get free boat ride. Drove from Florida, stayed in New Bern, drove hour to get there. The sign was so junky we wondered if the place was open. Looked at brochure on bar, said boat ride was only on Fridays. Asked waitress (without mask), myself with masked) and told the boat has been closed for repairs. Why can’t people UPDATE their web page. No mask While we wore them. No consideration for oldies. Will not be back!!!
All around great atmosphere
Apparently they don't bother to devein their shrimp. I know there are lots of people that eat them anyway, but I prefer not to eat shrimp feces. When we asked about it since most of the shrimp were inedible, they never offered to remove it from the bill. Lesson learned.

Hi Teressa, very sorry you were not happy with your shrimp. No manager was made aware or we would have gladly taken it off the bill. The server said she asked if you wanted a manger but she thought that you declined. Very sorry if she was mistaken. We’d be happy to offer you a complimentary appetizer if you chose to come back.

My husband and I have been going for over 12 yrs. We LOVE the food, the atmosphere, and the people! We stop by almost once a week. (Shrimp Alfredo is my FAVORITE!) We will continue to go and continue to enjoy the laid back atmosphere!
