Dr. Marcu took great interest in finding the source of my GI bleeding, even when it was not evident after four different procedures. Dr. Marcu went the extra mile, even calling me personally to let me know when he did find the source of the bleeding. I was, however, extremely disappointed to hear that he would have to refer me to another specialist to treat the cause. I highly recommend Dr. Marcu to anyone experiencing any GI issues.
Dr. Marcu doesn’t seem to listen well, he walks away while your talking to him & explaining your symptoms & pain while he says very well!! Maybe he is a good Dr. but, he’s too short & dismissive for me..

He recently performed a colonoscopy for me and made the procedure so much better than it could have been. His follow up care was amazing! He took the time to talk with me afterwards and explain the results and his diagnosis in detail and words that were so easy to understand, and even spoke with me about the actions I could take to improve my health. A great doctor whom I would highly recommend !
Excellent care, extreme expert in his field with exceptional communication skills in regard to treatment and diagnosis.
I have been to a couple of other GIs over the past 10 years who could not figure out my issues and just summed everything up to IBS without doing any further testing. Dr. Marcu did further testing and found out that I have Celiac disease which is what has been causing my issues for the last 10 years. He was very thorough with all of his explanations and even called me personally with my test results. I could not recommend a better doctor to anyone.
Dr. Marcu was the worst doctor I've ever dealt with. He never let me finish a question before cutting me off and answering it. He called my mother antagonistic for showing concern about my disease. There was absolutely no "bedside manner" shown which should be given to a young girl learning she has a lifelong disease. I never received phone calls from the office about biopsy results, blood tests, or an MRI. He implied that I was lying when I stated I didn't get the calls. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND
