I am guessing that the one-star reviews are accidental reviews since Marilyn is definitely worth more than one star! If I could give her a 10-star review, I would. Marilyn is the best psychologist I have ever encountered. Simply one of the best communicators I have ever seen. I have been to other counselors over 30 years and can finally say that I found one that makes a real difference in the quality of my life. She is very direct yet also diplomatic. If you want someone to sugarcoat and make you feel good about your dysfunction, she is not the one. If you want to make substantive changes that will affect you and the loved ones around you... look no further.
