I followed JP or Jenny Pehrson McPhie as she goes by now to Marigold and could not be happier! I love this new salon she is at so much, it is super cute and comfortable and everyone is so friendly. I feel much more at home here and she really has time to focus on my services. I would recommend this salon to anyone and especially Jenny!

Very Impressed! – I found out about Marigold after seeing a girl in the mall with absolutely gorgeous hair and asking her where she gets her hair done. She told me Dustin at Marigold does her hair. I liked the stylist I had so I didn't go to Marigold until my current stylist at another salon recently didn't return my attempts to reschedule with him after he had to cancel on me :-o I called to get an appt with Dustin but he books 1-2 months out and I couldn't wait that long, so Jenny gave me a call and gave me some pretty imm... read more

Great place, great haircuts – I searched around Raleigh for a good hairdresser for YEARS! and then I finally went to Marigold Parlour and had my hair cut by Jesse. She's wonderful. I love going there - the space is so nice, the people who greet you are very personable, I can't say enough about it. I've had my haircut there for months and I always walk away very happy! I recommend this place!

i love this place – i've serial dated A LOT of raleigh salons and i happily found this place 2 years ago and now we go steady : ). it's awesome when you can go in to a salon without a plan and walk out every time with a cut you sincerely love. been to multiple stylist there (3) and had great experiences each time. the space is really pretty too!

marigold parlour – My name is Dustin and I am one of the owners at Marigold Parlour. I am troubled by the two negative reviews I have read. Not to sound prideful, but of all the blogs sites that have reviewed the salon, this is the first time in 3 years I have read anything like this. As an owner, I care so much about customer service. Worst haircut ever--twice – Gerald Allen is the worst at cutting hair that I have ever known. He cut my hair twice, never again. After letting my first cut, a "mullet" , grow out I returned for a second appointment with a picture of the style I wanted. I got a chin length cut of no style whatsoever with cutouts over my ears, yes folks, cutouts over my ears. Lesson learned: just because the salon is rated Best Of in the Independent and the cuts cost a whole lot of money does not mean the stylist is qualified to cut hair. Peop... read more

Unprofessional stylist – During my haircut, my stylist would cut, text on her phone, go back to make another cut, then go back to texting. I'm paying good money for a professional haircut and I should have my stylists's full attention during my appointment. This was my second visit to the salon and both visits were disappointing. It makes me wonder if the rave reviews on the New Raleigh blog were made by staff of the salon.
