About this business

This family restaurant is the kind of diner you remember from the old days. Highlighted in pink and blue, all the classical decor lines are intact. Breakfast and lunches are served to families and seniors, who linger over their meals the way diner denizens are supposed to. A decent selection of steaks, chops, great seafood and dinner entrees are available, but most opt for the simpler diner fare that dominates the menu. Try the French toast with sausage or bacon with coffee, tea or juice. And not to forget their divine desse... read more

Best New York Style Diner – I lived in New York before moving here. I have been trying to find a dining experience to compare to what I missed. I found it here. The food portions are truly reminisent of that from NYC diners. The food was very good. I have taken friends visiting me here to share in this experience as well. Wonder place for a harty meal.

gigantic menu! – ok, we saw this place on diners drive ins and dives on food network (yes i am a dork). we had no idea it was even around. but thank god we don't live closer or i wouldnt be able to fit into any of my jeans. the menu is HUGE and its open 24 hours. my bf had the veal saltimboca (good), i had the greek sampler (yummy) and our friend had a slice of chocolate mousse cake the size of her head. you've got to go just to see the dessert case. we got a slice of coconut cream pie in the fridge that i cant even think ab... read more

Great late night Dinning – Marietta diner is excellent for late night dinning. Althought I am not crazy about their desserts and regular menu items. I think it's a little bland. Now breakfest is ok I figure you can't mess breakfest up to much. If you mess up breakfest you are in the wrong profession and you can't cook. BUT... The Greek salad with london broil is the best salad I have ever had which is why I order from them in the first place. Because of this factor it's great for me to visit on lunch or late night

24 Hours a day.... The Best Late Night North of the Perimeter – We have been in here all hours of the day and night and always enjoy the food. What a varied menu! From Eggs Benedict, Corned Beef Hash and Chocolate Chip Pancakes to Baked Salmon and T-Bone Steaks with Greek Specialties thrown in for "excitement"..... There is just one problem! It is very hard to decide what to have, when. Breakfast or Dinner anytime BUT who of us can make it past the dessert counter.... Cakes, Pies , Cookies, Eclairs, Canolis and every type of... read more

Editorial Review – Breakfast around the clock, freshly made desserts, and Greek dishes sprinkled throughout the all-American menu come with good service and good prices at this classic retro diner.

Best kept secret of Marietta – I have to say that the Marietta Diner has to be the best kept secret in the ATL area. It looks like a nice clean diner on the outside but when you sit down for dinner, you get soooo much more than a sandwich. They start you out with the famous spanakapita and then homemade chicken noodle soup with warm bread , When you order your meal, which can be anything from breakfast to the best greek dish I have had...and Im greek, you don't have to wait an eternity!! Service is always the best and eventh... read more

wonderfully comfortable – This is a great place to hang out, drink some coffee and catch up with friends. Be aware that it is going to be a bit busy on the weekends, but its to be expeceted as there just aren't enough places like this in town.

Marietta Diner is an ADDICTION!! – I have been dinning at The Diner for years!! A couple of years ago I introduced my hubby to it and before we moved to D.C. recently we went there every weekend! The cheesecakes & cakes are to-die-for!! And the meals are incredible for the price! I have not found a diner in the D.C. are that is in any way compatable! I will always go here when in town!!
