We have only been seeing Dr Gessel for a few months but she has been great with all 5 of our kiddos. She is patient and friendly. So far we have enjoyed coming to see her!
I do not recommend Dr. Gessel. Please look elsewhere if you want a provider who is really willing to spend time with you and take your concerns seriously. She at times seemed very annoyed and condescending during the appointment. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and decided to chalk it up to her having a bad day. However, after trying to talk to her again and experiencing the same thing, I realized that it wasn't a one-time deal. We won't be going back.
Dr. Gessel was remarkable in seeing my daughter the very next day to getting us in with a pediatric neurologist within days to have my daughter diagnosed quickly. She related very well to my teenager and was extremely thorough with her exam as well as spent plenty of time with us to address everything we had questions with . We are so happy to of come across her and to have her as our new pediatrician.
