This place reminds me of a shady Mechanic who looks at your car and tries to make up things that are wrong with it to get you to pay for unnecessary repairs.. just got my bill back from my insurance company and I had only gone in for a teeth cleaning .. the insurance company was billed 875 dollars with a bunch of made up procedures . very shady practice and the dentist that works there is kind of a jerk. they will also x-ray you every visit to bilk the insurance company for the cost when you only need to do this once every 2... read more
Appointment December 2016. X-rays taken, explained my discomfort and was advised I needed a deep cleaning. My dental experience has been cleanings twice a year for the last 35 years. I declined the deep cleaning and have experienced tooth discomfort since. Today an old filling came off. I called today requesting an appointment for my immediate problem and scheduled with a different dentist. Do pray that I'm not making a poor choice.
Maricopa Smiles Dentistry is a complete joke! I went in for a routine cleaning, they did X-rays, the dentist came in and looked at my teeth and X-rays. She said everything looked great then called in a financial adviser to sell me $600 dollars worth of stuff! I told we her I was just wanting a cleaning. She went to the hallway and told the hygienist then came back and said it was going to be another 30min wait for the hygienist to get my teeth cleaned after I had already been there for 45min. I had an appointment that I scheduled 3 weeks in advance and got a babysitter on a Monday morning. I was on my way to my 8am appointment and got a call at 7:45am telling me that my appointment was being cancelled. I am very disappointed. I would have appreciated more notice of a reschedule, since they called to confirm my appointment with me on Friday. I will unfortunately have to go to another office that I can count on since I have to get a babysitter and take time off for any appointments.
I have been to 3 dentists in 6 months for the same problem. I came here, was helped HONESTLY, quickly, and kindly! Very thankful to have found this dentist. I know my kids will love all the friendly people as well!
