My husband and I drove 3 hours to try this place. I originally heard of it on Diner, Drive-ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. The tacos al pastor are amazing! Great food, atmosphere and staff! :)
Great food and great fun... I absolutely love the charming ambiance of Maria's TE... Fajitas, margaritas and rockin' gospel music... Maria's is where it's at on Sunday's...
I would try this place again. Suizas with chicken was good, but not the best I've ever had. Tex-Mex is a dime a dozen in Austin, but this atmosphere is definitely quirky enough for its hometown.
Love the food, service is quick and the Bloody Mary's are nice to start the day.
Came here on a whim not sure what to expect. Line was out the door but I figured I would wait it out. I have eaten a lot of disappointing Mexican food lately, so I really wanted something good to end the bad streak. While waiting, I got to absorb the interesting decor and listen to the other people in line rave about how good everything was.
