Chips and salsa was delicious. I asked about the contents of the shrimp chimichanga on the menu and was assured that it was just shrimp with tomato sauce and cheese on top.... turns out it was shrimp onion and pepper. So needless to say I paid a stiff bill to eat 5 pieces of shrimp with the horriable taste of pepper in my mouth.
The food had no taste. The worst Mexican restaurant I ever experienced. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place.
Food and service was great it's been a long time since we had damn good service even made sure our baby was good
I've eaten at many Mexican restaurants all over the city of Chicago and this is by far the best food I've had! Chicken soup is homemade and perfect blend of veggies, potatoes and elbow noodles. Salsa and chips are excellent and the beef and chicken dishes are seasoned perfectly! Highly recommend.
Me and my mom celebrate our birthdays yesterday there. Our favorite Mexican food place. The food is always great. And The hospitality is to. We eat here at least 3 to 4 times out of a month. We need VIP passes now. But overall I love Maria's. I referred friends and family all the time. They sang Happy birthday to us and put hat's on our heads and bought us the best ice cream in Chicago. We we're treated very special and that's what up.
