Brides Maria Romia Bridal Couture is a business that offers bridal dresses and accessories. My friend chose to purchase her wedding dress from here. She looked absolutely beautiful in the dress. It was custom ordered just for her. So when you buy your gown from them, be assured that yours too will be custom ordered. They can be more expensive than you can get at the chain stores, but its your special day and you want to look stunning. You also must put down 50% of the cost when you order your dress. You have to schedule an a... read more
Great Service I am considering using Maria to make my wedding gown. I came in with my family with no appointment (which I don't recommend) and she was very will to help!! She has gorgeous gowns that she especially makes for every bride as well as gowns that she brings in from Milan! She is so kind and the shop is fabulous! PROS: Very unique!! CONS: A little pricy, but worth it
Dream store! Prior to getting engaged, I would walk past this store and gaze into the windows at all of the beautiful gowns. The service at this store is impeccable, the gowns are top couture gowns. the hardest part is picking from all of the beautiful dresses, its a shame you can only have one!
Great bridal shop – I bought my gown there after trying on about 35 boring, heavy satin gowns at other bridal salons. Maria chooses incredibly unique gowns for people that appreciate couture style; and you don't have to pay couture prices. She is so warm and smart and kind and the staff that does the alterations fuss at you and speak in Greek with pins in their mouth, giving the whole thing a very old world feel. Going there is always a pleasure; I'd recommend it to anyone.
Philly's finest bridal salon reigns supreme in service and style. – In Short One minute in this boutique and even the most jaded bride-to-be brightens with expectations of wedding-day bliss. Owner Maria Romia warmly greets shoppers into her calming pastel oasis. Light waves of opera waft from a back room workshop. A single line of fair frocks is suspended just a few yards from the shop's bay windows. Romia graduated from Parsons and spent two years apprenticing in Paris, plus requisite time in Manhattan's Garment District. B... read more
Maria Romia saved my wedding day! – Due to disastrous alterations at another bridal shop, my original wedding gown was completely ruined. I went to Maria Romia six weeks before my wedding, found the perfect dress, and had an extremely enjoyable experience throughout the entire alteration process. Even though I bought a discontinued dress at a very discounted price, Maria and her entire staff treated me like a princess every time I was there. In addition, the alterations were perfect!

Good if you want something different – I recently went to Maria Romia and didn't find them rude at all. Yes, you have to ring the doorbell to get in, but I didn't find that a problem. They have many dresses that you won't see at other shops and if you like them you'll love the shop. They weren't really my thing, but I did find one dress there that I loved and the saleswoman actually wrote down the designer, style number and price for me (without me having to ask), which is more than you'll find a lot of places. If you're loo... read more
