I have no idea whether I could have been helped. she seemed too preoccupied and too busy. do not feel she took the time to analyze what my problem is and just wanted me to go to the ER
I've had a history of urogynecology issues, was trying to do a follow-up on kidney stone and other issues and was declined from scheduling an appt. I guess just a very narrow specialty of issues Dr. Canter sees.
Dr Canter is a very friendly, compassionate, highly skilled urogynecologist. She did " the works" for me with hysterectomy and related repairs in 2008. She used a high quality mesh, not the mesh that caused problems for some women. I highly recommend her and my mother is going to see her too.
Dr. Canter is incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. Moreover she is one of the kindest and most considerate physicians I've ever encountered. She sits with her patients for as long as it takes, is thorough to discuss and answer all questions and is very comforting. I wish she was my primary care, however thanks to her comprehensive care I shouldn't need her clinical services in the future.
Dr. Canter is extremely knowledgeable and a talented diagnostician. She always has a treatment plan that she explains well. She is seeing my elderly mother and she understands, respects and considers the challenges that older patients have. She also has a beautiful and compassionate bedside manner, she really cares.
