My family and our preschooler are always happy to see Doctor Maria Mason for our well check appointments. We're lucky to have her up here in Northern MI. She listens actively to questions and concerns and replies with respect and support. She knows who we are when she enters the room and that helps us feel like our child's growth and development are in good hands. This is a difficult job and we are thankful that she is there! Dr. Mason is the best pediatrician i have ever encountered. She is intelligent, kind and funny. My youngest son has been through a lot since birth and i cant imagine him having anyone else other then her as his doctor. Me and my family are truly grateful she was on call the night he was born.
Dr. Mason is compassionate & knowledgeable. She has taken wonderful care of my infant on different occasions in the ER. We are very thankful to have her in our small town.
My step grand daughter who is under 1 year went to Alpena ER. The ER doctor wanted to admit her as she was in and out of Resp. Distress and diagnosed with RSV. Dr M. Mason pediatrician said even if her oxygen is lower than normal she doesn’t appear to be in distress without even listening to her lungs for 1 full minute and in only 2 areas. Less than 12 hours later we are being rushed by ambulance to hospital in Southern Michigan where she is put on a vent and remains on a vent. This afternoon she had to be bagged.
