RecommendedKingston is very lucky to have Maria! She is a world class tailor able to see your vision and create it. I had a bit of an odd request. I wanted my dress to bustle to the knee so I could swing dance in it. Maria had never done this before, and she did an amazing job. I’m so happy I found her.
Maria is so incredibly talented that you shouldn't be going to anyone but her for any type of alteration need. I saw her about once a month for the 6 months leading up to my wedding in September(and even a few appts before that!) to ensure my dress fit me perfectly. Well the big day came, and the dress fit like a glove! So many guests kept commenting that I looked like Cinderella! 👸 Talent, kindness and compassion-she has it all! I have never taken the time to write a review for anything, but I felt the need to let everyone know what a wonderful seamstress Maria is. I had two dresses which I needed hemmed for upcoming weddings I will be attending. I was worried that one of the dresses would not be able to be hemmed as it is a rather difficult fabric to work with, but she was able to do the hem and it came out beautifully. I love Maria! She has such a good eye and pays attention to every detail. She made recommendations that made my dress fit and look so much better and I truly couldn’t have found someone better for the job. She made my bridesmaids dresses look great and my MIL. Her prices are fair and her shop is so clean and nice too.
