I’m only giving a 1 star I loved doctor brown but I have been trying to get the staff to send a script to Novo nordisk for 3 weeks and the wrong code was sent in twice even though I called and talked to the staff and gave them the correct code to send in with the script. Even the woman with the engagement center said the codes I gave again when I called back for the 10th time said those codes were already in my messages to the staff. My wife and I both saw Dr. Brown for several months and had bad experiences. I take a ADHD medication that Dr. Brown insisted that I had to schedule a visit with her ever month to get my prescription, which no other doctor I've seen before or after has required. When I pointed this out to her, she got defensive and talked down to me. That was all frustrating, but not horrible. My wife's experience is much worse. My wife has several complicated medical conditions and we were trying to see Dr. Brown about a comorbid condition.... read more
After moving to the area from Chicago, I was pleased with selecting Dr Brown as my PCP. She is warm yet also no-nonsense, which I personally appreciate. She's a mom (possibly grandma now) with a demanding career and she is a cancer survivor. As a woman with a challenging career and children as well, my health is constantly on my mind and having someone like Dr Brown - with her experience and emotional IQ - gives me both confidence and relief. I would recommend.
Dr Maria Brown is an amazing doctor! She communicates and listens. She is caring and beyond skilled. Best Dr ever!!!
Dr. Brown was rude and condescending. She did not allow me to ask questions. It was the worst experience with a doctor I've had in 49 years.
