best wax, best value – I went to Maria Bonita for a Brazilian Bikini Wax, and Regina did such a perfect job. She has a very gentle touch and made me feel that I was in good hands. Heads up for Regina and for the owner, who were such a sweet heart. Thanks, I will be back.

Pedro is the man! – Ive been going to Pedro for the past seven years, ever since I moved to NYC. I have followed him to 3 different salons, Maria Bonita being the 3rd. He really is the best. He has done wonders for me! He knows how to higlight to perfection! The staff at Maria Bonita are also wonderful. They are very personable and very attentive. Home sweet home – Oh gosh, this place rocks, I booked a whole day of beauty on my birthday and all the crew(Eveline, little Maria, Regina, and Roger)I hope I got their names right not only treated me like a queen but they had champagne and ice ceam with a candle. I almost broke down in tears, it was so awesome to feel special.

Ladies (and men!) if you are thinking about changing your color or getting highlights and are not sure where to turn-look no further. Whether you want to add some subtle golden highlights, spice up your current shade or go for the full Shakira-Pedro is the only name you need to know.
Perfect "10" – I have curly hair and find it difficult to find a hairstylist. I don't have to look anymore. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable in their crafts. Extra points to Pedro who knows how to make a woman look her best.
