Best brezilian wax – Ask for Regina! I used to live in NYC but now moved back to Canada. One of the thing I miss most is my brezilian bikini wax. I have tried a few spots here in Montreal but nothing compared to Regina at the salon. She is so nice and best in what she does!!!!! Now every trip to NYC includes an appointment at the Maria Bonita Salon with Regina.
Pedro is the best for highlights!!! – I went to Maria Bonita for the first time one month ago (totally forgot to review till now!) for highlights with Pedro and I cannot recommend Pedro more! He is so incredibly talented- I look like the natural blonde that I say I am! ;) I went from a partial to a full head of highlights and I could not be happier- and this is after a month! My hair really has never looked so good! Make an appointment with Pedro for highlights and you will be so incredibly glad you did!
Perfect Highlights – I read the raving reviews about Pedro and decided t check it out...I was going for a change so I did my homework on reseaching for a new hairdresser. He was so nice and we talked through what I wanted till we both were on the same page. I left there with my hair looking like the picture I brought from Jeniffer Aniston´s hair. Thank you Pedro!
Never more – I went to highlight my hair for the first time there since a friend of mine do it very often with Pedro. But my deception was gigantic when I saw a good portion of my hair broken and the results didn't worth the money I spent for. Never go back there again.
Pedro is the best for highlights – If you have blonde highlights do go see Pedro. He has a great eye for color and he is quick and efficient. The price is decent and the service is excellent. Highly recommend it.
Okay, but not worth the money – I got a brazilian bikini wax, and it wasn't the best experience. The tech was obviously skilled at what she was doing, but she wasn't very friendly or anything even though I kept trying to make conversation. She used a honey wax, you know the kind you pull off with a strip of cloth which I was kind of surprised by because stripless wax hurts way less. She also left some hair that I suppose didn't get pulled out by the wax. She started tweezing but I dont know... I guess she gave up in the midd... read more
Pay attention on Packages – I went to Maria Bonita for the Package of the Month...what a wonderful and put together package...for only $135 I got my hair conditioned and a scalp massage, then Roger cut my hair with a lot of layers in the back...now even if I don´t style it , it looks stylish...and what a great time you have with him...Then Fernanda took care of my hands and foot making them feel new again...Heads up for the whole staff...I´ll be checking for more packages soon so I can come back...
Bikini Wax – I had my first Bikini wax here ever. The staff was so great. Really knowledgeable and made the experience as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend it.
The best!!! – It will be difficult to write about this place with only 150 words. This is "really.. "heaven on earth"!!! I have been around the world as far as salons are concerned but this one has a "je ne sais quoi" that I have never encounter anywhere else. At Maria Bonita you can sip a glass of wine while having your nails done by one of Fernanda's wonderful manicures or having Regina massaging you way after the hour you booked..
