Awful awful. She focused on the fact that I have been taking pain meds more than the reason I am. I have many issues with my back, one being my L4&5 discs degenerating and pressing my nerves. She talked about the pills and how she didn’t think I would be able to handle recovery since I am taking pain meds already. I just walked out of Dr Guglielmo’s office in tears. At just 33 years old, I have been suffering from dementia-like symptoms, vision loss and other neurological difficulties that have impacted my life. She told me that I likely have congenital hydrocephalus but she won’t treat me because my imaging hasn’t gotten worse in the last year. She completely minimized my struggles and symptoms. Dr. Guglielmo’s office provides exceptional service. We were able to secure an appointment quickly, and the staff on the phone were pleasant and accommodating. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an extremely friendly and cheerful nurse. When Dr. Guglielmo came in, she immediately took control of the situation, clearly explaining the diagnosis and treatment options to my nearly 80-year-old mother.
