Owners are great people, food is superb!!! Authentic home cooked feel and in a beautiful area of town! Worth the experience!
I had amazing fresh fajitas that we're better then I expected. Their hot sauce they served was exploding with flavor. Clean, friendly, the whole works. Will recommend to many.
My partner & I were on a mini vacation in Reno and wanted some other food besides the Hotel food. I looked online and landed at Mari Chuy's. From the time we walked in, we felt extremely welcomed by everyone that was working that night (we assumed they were the owners). I had the fish tacos and they were amazing! It was packed in there for Cinco de Mayo! Great spot for awesome Mexican food in Midtown!
I ordered a strawberry margarita blended and it had chunks of ice all in it. I also ordered the sticks pear ice cream dessert. It was delivered was no pear it was just a bowl of ice cream. The service was slow.

We've been dining at Mari Chuy's since 2006 and it just keeps getting better. A must stop in Midtown Reno.
I have never had a bad meal here. Not when it was Fresh Mex on 5th Street and certainly not since. And Chuy is such a friendly guy.

There aren't enough words to describe the quality of the great food that's prepared here. The chips and salsa alone could be a meal. Chuy and his team make some of the area's BEST Mexican food, period. One of my favorite items on their menu is nopales, or cactus for those who've heard of this on a menu but have never tried it.
