The welcoming ambience of the cafe struck me instantly. The endless supply of gifts to choose from was overwhelming, and the kind young gentleman at the store helped me choose a shirt for myself and a helped me find a gift for my best friend back home. She was unable to come with me on my trip and was stuck in the cold on the east coast. Fortunately, Brandon helped me choose a wonderful gift that she was floored by instantly. Went in to buy a bottle of water. Attendant asked me, "Can I see your hand?" When I asked why, they looked at me like I was crazy and stated, "So I can count your change." Funny thing is, they didn't give me my change; they gave me SOME of my change. They handed dollar bills only, not the remaining 30-some cents that they still owed me. Good coffee and a friendly guy..
I ordered a simple iced coffee and the woman behind the counter filled the cup overflowing with ice and when I asked for less ice she told me “it’ll melt” and didn’t take any out. Now I’m left with a watery coffee that I overpaid for since it’s 90% ice.
Awesome place for a quick bite and decent cup of coffee, coffee is hot and not too sweet. The burrito was amazing, the cashier Jess was sweet and offered a seasonal flavor combo that was bomb. Will defiantly make this my go to spot in the morning the location is super convince, the place is clean and really fun with all the holiday décor. If you want friendly people and a good cup of coffee this a great option downtown.
