Phillips park zoo is the bet place to taktake kids and it's that it is free.
Phillips Park Zoo is a great place to take your children and family. It is FREE zoo and has so much to offer. It is very small but perfect for young children. They have an amazing sunken garden that is so fun for the children to run through, 3 or more playgrounds and picnic area, lots of great animals and a small indoor area with reptiles. They have a tram that runs specific days in the summer, and also a splash pad. This zoo is a great hidden gem! Check it out!

I love love love how they have otters! They are my favorite animal!!! Love to go there for free whenever I want and see them! So glad I live so close to the zoo! Every time I go it's always so clean and well taken care of. I would recommend this zoo to anyone!
I live in Phoenix but I visit the zoo everytime I visit my son in Aurora. I love it even in the winter.
We really liked the zoo. Not so big... But enough for an afternoon outing.
