Nice park beautiful. big play ground. A very small free zoo. Saw a water Park it was closed. I read they there is a splash pad with cold water for little children but I didn't see it.
The garden is hands down the best part. The zoo is small and I've never seen the otters or the cougar, and we've been there many times. The kids like it, but I'm sure they will quickly out grow it. Good if you have very small kids and want to go to the park nearby well.
My 18 month old enjoyed the zoo as I always have!!! Such a great time!!!
Was really impressed. It was a small zoo, but had more animals than I thought it would. Layout was nice for young and old. Someone else said it only has birds, not true. A mountain lion, white wolves,a reptile house, with 2 rather large alligators, an otter, and much more. The plant life was very well done. Also there is a beautiful sunken garden dedicated to the veterans. And many trails along with a good size park with a lot of playground equipment. And IT'S FREE!!! Good job Aurora ��
This is a great small Zoo! So wonderful that it's free with a splash park attached! My 2yo enjoyed it so much!
I visited there yesterday for the first time (we live an hour away). My son and his family bought a house in Aurora. The grounds were impressive and the animals look well cared for. It was an enjoyable visit and I wish my town had something like this! Very nice! :-)
Very clean & the animals their are well kept & have a nice home, also theirs a huge park, splash station, a 4 car tour ride & exhibits. Enjoy�
