My 12 month old daughter is very frightened when going to the doctor. Dr. Saltzstein didn't show to her appointment and caused the medical staff to scramble. I would not recommend her if your child is nervous at the doctor or if you value your time.
Dr. Saltzstein is amazing. I saw her from the time I was born, until I was 19 years old. Many of my friends and family saw her as well. You will not find a better doctor. She is kind, funny, and truly cares about her patients. She makes sure the patient feels listened to and comforts them during difficult situations.
We came to this office in August 2018 - to make a simple vaccination for my 5 years old son - our school required it for TK kids. Just a simple vaccination - DTAP - that's all. They confirmed our insurance card is accepted by them. We spent there 20 minutes, not more (actually it was for a visit, we waited for 30 minutes before being accepted - despite having an exact appointment time). My sisters and I all saw Dr. Saltzstein growing up, and my daughter saw her for a couple of years until we unfortunately switched over to Kaiser insurance (boo). I have seen several doctors there and I can't find anyone who can compare to Dr. Saltzstein. She makes her patients feel listened to, comforted, and properly escalates to specialists when needed. I hope I can eventually change my insurance back so that my daughter can again have her as a pediatrician.
Dr. Saltzstein is awesome! She is a wonderful doctor who truly cares about her patients. The only complaint I do have is with the receptionist up front, Nicole. She is not nice, seems cranky and over the phone, she sounds even more irritated and annoyed. Doctors are great. Receptionist should be more warm, friendly and not behave the way she does to clients.
