I had symptoms that no doctor could correctly diagnose me. When Dr. Kottke was called into for a second opinion, she immediately knew that it was lichen planus and still suggested a biopsy to confirm. She was correct and ever since then I always scheduled my appointments with her. I’m so grateful to how comforting she was when seeing me as there is no cure for lichen planus. Was misdiagnosed by this doctor. I felt like she didn’t understood my skin condition and instead closed her help on me instead of running further tests. Now I’m going to have delayed care and treatment because she does not know how to properly diagnose. Would not recommend.
Very caring
I had a telephone appointment with Dr Kottke during cov-19 stay in place. She was very attentive, listening well to establish my diagnosis. I felt she knew just what I was trying to convey regarding my symptoms. She phone in a prescription to the pharmacy. Even her voice was calming and reassuring that I would feel better!!!
She did not not do anything for me except give me some htdrocortison.. I have had a bumb on my eye, my cheek and a rash for a year I thought I would get some answers but no. She just gave me cream and told me to wait linger after showing me pictures of mens chests on an app on her phone as if that should make me feel batter. Wait for a better dr to have an opening
I have seen Dr. Kottke for two difficult procedures, wound care, and a full body skin check. She has the best bedside manner of any physician I have seen and treats with a strong level of confidence and reassurance.
