Dr. Alexander is by far the best doctor around when it comes to being a Obstetrician & Gynecologist. She has made me feel very comfortable talking about the cancer i have and answers my questions. She assures me and makes sure that my prescriptions are filled and visited me at the hospital. She has great bed side manner. I started going to Dr. Alexander when she had an office at Providence Hospital. I'm 64 years old, have never been pregnant and do not need an OB/GYN. Dr. Alexander is one of the very, very few female practitioners of gynaecologic oncology in the DMV area and, as such I'm not surprised by the wait time for obtaining an appointment or the time spent in her office. I absolutely love Dr. Alexander. She is always very pleasant and thorough. I've been a patient for nearly 20yrs and I would recommend her to anyone. I love the intimate and cozy atmosphere. Going to the doctor is stressful enough and with this setup, going to see a GYN doctor puts you at ease.
Dr. Alexander and staff are very professional and sensitive to delicate topics. I have tremendous confidence that if an illness was detected, her approach would be the least invasive.
I was recently diagnosed with uterine cancer. My PCP sent me to another gyn oncologist. He missed my recurrence. After many months of bleeding and him telling me there was nothing wrong, I went to another top doctor. Dr. Alexander immediately diagnosed my recurrence. Her thoroughness , and kindness is what SAVED MY LIFE. I am on the road to recovery.

Always a pleasant office atmosphere. Sometimes the wait is a little long but the service is worth it. Dr. Alexander is very focused on me and makes me feel like I am the only patient when she is seeing me. I never feel rushed.
