Delicious! Stopped in for a drink and bite for my husbands birthday with friends. We had the tri tip sandwhich and a sampler, and cider and the chicken sandwich. Delicious! We followed it with the pudding! Oh My, it was heaven! Small and quaint space, we had no problems with service, and the beer was great!
I hope to go back for the Coal Shed Stout next trip to CA!!!
We dropped into the Mare Island Brewing Company after a ferry ride from San Francisco expecting the usual micro-brewery fare. We were a bit disappointed. This might be a good place if you like beer but avoid the food. The food menu is very short. We were expecting a burger or even fish and chips. My wife ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and I ordered a brat with sour kraut.
