My husband and I spent Thanksgiving weekend with you in 2014. We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, served in an elegant dinning room. The service was wonderful and we never felt rushed. The hotel was decorated with fall colors but what a fun surprise when we came down for breakfast the morning after Thanksgiving it had been transformed into the Christmas holiday season with gorgeous decorations everywhere. We had a delightful weekend in a beautiful city.
So I am rewriting my review of the Marcus Whitman as I almost knew I would be. It is an amazing hotel, through and through. I had misunderstandings recently with some of the management but after talking with Dan Leeper, all is well again. It would was a terrible case of miscommunication between a manager and myself, as I said before. We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is not massive, but it has some nice spaces, and feels very cozy! The furnishings downstairs are gorgeous - I would just like to sit down in the lobby and enjoy those rooms longer! Our guest room itself was a decent size, and felt very clean and cared for. We look forward to staying here again soon!
