Xavier Marcus is an absolute thief. After this company went under and he stole money, he started another company called NC Construction and development. With the same address but under someone else's name. This is a bogus address. He stole 38 grand and destroyed my house. DO NOT TRUST XAVIER MARCUS-DENNIS
This company is a fraud. My father hired Xavier in July 2020 and he came once to look at the project and took a deposit of over $4,000. Month after month passed and my father had to reach out to him to find out what was happening, he never was able to reach him. His assistant responded a few times with excuses that the materials were still being delivered. He never followed up, money lost. Do not trust this company.
This has been the worst experience imaginable. We agreed to a price with MC&D on Dec. 30, 2021. Within 30 minutes of agreeing on the phone, Ann showed up on our doorstep to receive a check for 50% of the total price. When we asked for a contract to be signed, Ann didn’t have one. We printed one out and copied our check. We were introduced to Sean who was to be our project manager. After 2 weeks nothing had happened. I recently had A leak in my kitchen so I went to Home Depot to find someone who could fix it. I also wanted some cosmetic changes done as well. This company was very flexible with my schedule and someone came at the perfect time to help me. They were very professional and transparent with billing. Will definitely be working them them again!
I'm so impressed with this company! They were very accommodating, knowledgeable, and did a remarkable job with my kitchen. Xavier was fantastic start to finish. I'll definitely be looking to this company for help as we continue renovations.
