How do you see a rheumatologist and they never draw an ANA... they tested for 1 singular autoimmune disease and when that was negative they kinda just shrugged their shoulders.. do not recommend.
I had to wait 4 months to get a referral after my Rheumatologist retired, now over a month later and I never heard from them.. seems maybe they are too busy for new patients. I got a new referral today.
Dr Owen is an excellent!! Everyone in office very friendly & knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr Marcus Owen.
My PCP referred me to Dr Owen's to see if I have rheumatoid arthritis. The day of the appointment I could barely walk on my right foot the pain was so bad. I was having really bad pain and swelling in both hands and feet. He came into the exam room and had me hold out my right hand but did not touch or exam it. He then had me take my shoe off my right foot then proceeded to run one finger along the outside of it. That was the total of any exam if you could call it that. I appreciate being able to check in prior to arrival. Once there, everything was handled in an efficient manner. Dr. Owen asked pertinent questions and listened carefully to my answers & made helpful suggestions.
