Pushy pushy pushy! I was immediately turned off upon entry to this bridal shop (I visited Jan 2003). The saleswoman approached me and asked if I was the bride. Having been newly engaged and arriving at my first dress place of the day, I happily said yes! She then asked what styles I liked, and we proceeded to the size street clothes I wear (for those who are new to this: wedding dresses can be 5-6 sizes larger than your "street clothes"). Delightful shopping experience This store has a great selection of dresses for a small town. I went there on the recommendation of a co-worker and was very happy with my shopping experience. The sales associate helped me try on the dresses in a large fitting room and showed me veils with each one. I found THE DRESS and was able to buy it off the rack at a nice discount. My fiance also pick out tuxedos for the guys. I give them high marks for service and selection. Only downside, they are only open evenings on Friday.

Absolutely Excellent! This is the store for the mature bride who knows what she wants. The wonderful woman who assisted me listened to my likes and dislikes, and proceeded to guide me to only six dresses (yes, I am that picky) which perfectly matched what I suggested. In addition, she identified a yellow undertone in my skin and pulled one dress in "candlelight" for me to simply try. Do NOT GO Here I recently went looking for my perfect wedding dress and decided to go here for my first stop. When i walked into the stores i was immediately meet by a sales associate. she asked if i was the bride and when the wedding date was. i told her it was July 7,2007. she immediately replied that there would be no way that i could order a formal wedding dress in time for my wedding seeing that there was only 5 months to go and in believing what she said i was directed to the bridesmaids dresses where she picked-out a ... read more
great!!!! I schedule and appointment in march to try on wedding dresses with my mom and one of my bridesmaids. I was politely greeted and then directed to the room of wedding dresses. I was working with 2 of the sales ladies. They informed me that all of the dresses on the racks came in all the different colors, white, cream, etc and in every size from 2-30. More than a bridal shop If you're looking for that one stop shop, marcile's is the place for you. I had nothing but great experiences there. Everyone was extremely helpful. I was able to choose a wedding gown, bridesmaids,tuxedos,and my mom even got her dress there. They also refered me to the hall across the street which was great. I suggest to everyone go to marcile's. Good luck with your shopping. I hope it goes as well as mine did!!!
