Dr. Blank is super professional! My mom went to see her when she was shopping around for heading aids. She was so patient and thoughtful. We had to go back, what seemed like a million times, and she was always super helpful and caring.
I was looking for places to get ear impressions for a custom in-ear monitor and found this one. Compared to other audiologists around the area, service was at a reasonable price (still expensive but whatever). Dr. Blank took great care in making sure impressions were done right, and thanks to that, I was able to obtain a set that fit just right without a need for reshelling.
She patiently answered all our questions in an understandable manner which was very helpful since this was the first time we talked with an audiologist. Also spent a lot of time adjusting the rechargeable hearing aids, adjusting for background noise and static, even rustling clothing. On the second visit, when patient complained that they could not tell the difference between wearing one and not, she quickly diagnosed a part which went defective and also cleaned the hearing aids.
Without any hesitation I would endorse Dr. Blank, now located in the Little Tokyo area, if you are looking for qualified and sincere audiologist. Or even an honest opinion on your particular hearing situation. Most hearing specialists are looking to cut corners has been my experience as most patients are not familiar with this field of audiology and fall prey to the unscrupulous (sp).
