Right Rotator cuff repair with a subacromiol decompression. Surgery went well, always easy to talk to and ask questions.
Dr. Milia performed a massive rotator cuff repair, bicep tenonesis and acromial decompression on my dominate shoulder. I found both Dr. Milia and his Brownstown office staff to be pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. My surgery and recovery pain were managed very well. The only suggestion I would have would be that the recovery staff at the surgery center give instruction on proper wearing and adjustment of the arm sling and demonstrate how to perform the after care passive arm movement.
Dr. Milia is a shoulder magician. I had both rotator cuffs repaired by him within 8 months this year. Very little pain and good recoveries. He and his staff are awesome, always keeping in touch, answering questions and keeping me informed along the way. I recommend him highly and without reservation.

Dr. Milia has performed 2 total reverse replacement shoulder surgeries on me. The 1st one was 5 years ago (left) and just recently (right). I would highly recommend him if you have this kind of issue. He is extremely personable and is easy to discuss options with.

My visit was extremely satisfying, everyone in the surgery center was professional and courteous.
Dr. Malia has always been very assertive and I have never felt rushed while in the office. He just repaired my second shoulder. Both surgeries went well. I was just in Menards, while wearing my sling, was asked what happened to my shoulder,and the salesman told me about his shoulder issues and I recommended Dr. Malia. He took the doctors number down and hope he calls him to help him.
