I’ve been seeing Dr. Stanard for about years now, and after multiple gum graft procedures with him, I can confidently say he is the best medical professional I’ve ever worked with. From the very beginning, he has been incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful in how he approaches care. Dr. Stanard made the entire process for my gum graft much less scary and painful than I anticipated! He was very thorough at each appointment and called me the day after the procedure to check on how I was doing. My gums are definitely in much better shape now, and I even had my first ever pain-free cleaning at the dentist thanks to his expertise.
I saw Dr. Stanard for a bone graft and he is exceptional! These reviews don't do him justice--I would give a sixth star if possible. Getting dental work is a drag but Marc and his colleagues are a pleasure. I recommend, 10 out of 10, 100%!
Dr. Stanard is very knowledgeable and is a well respected periodontist in Washington, D.C. He was honest in his advice and provided to me the care I needed including the treatment for a preexisting issue for a tooth with a root canal and an implant. He is very good explaining your needs and treatment plan. Office staff is very pleasant and wants to help. A very good practice. 5 stars.
