Worse place ever – WORSE service ever. I purchased $25 For Spa Manicure & Pedicure ($60 Value) at TheCitySelect. They charged me two dollars for the taxes. I did not have cash at the moment. I decided to pay with my credit card. The stylist said that the minimum were $10. I said OK, charge me $10 ($2 for the taxes and $8 for the tip). DISGUSTING!!!!!! – Truly awful. Like the other reviewers have noted, this mani pedi disaster took well over two hours. Nightmare.With a few exceptions, notably the receptionist, the employees were unbelievably rude and incredibly unprofessional. When i walked in the pedicurist was finishing with someone else. They were 5 empty chairs. Without even cleaning up after the other client she tried to direct me to the very same spa chair/basin. Marc Joseph Salon is HORRIBLE – DO NOT GO HERE!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I went in 2 Fridays ago for a Mani Pedi I bought on Lifebooker. They give me this new girl that has ZERO skills as a manicurist. She didn’t know what I meant by French manicure. I arrived at 12noon and left at 2pm. In this 2 hour stretch of time I had 3 people working on me. The main inexperienced girl and then two other women to attempt to fix the first girl's mistakes. Great Experience! – This spa salon is definitely the cutting edge salon of nyc. The men's haircut I got was very affordable, and I looked like a rockstar when I left.
WORST MANICURE EVER!!! – I had the OPI Axxium Gel Manicure by Gula. What was supposed to be a 45 min appt turned into 2 hours. So many things not right about this place. Was told to "take a seat please, thank you" as the salon boy breezed by me. well, can u please clean up the used tissue sitting on the sofa? Salon boy said i was ready and could sit "over there" . Chris gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten ... – Chris, who was recommended by my previous hairstylist (at another salon) listened patiently to my dos & don'ts, and made a few suggestions, which I'm soooo happy I listened to. I walked out with a kick in my step, a fabulous haircut, and a new best friend. (The best blowout ever!!!) :o)))))
JUDY!!! JUDY!!!! JUDY!!!! – My hair looks like something out of a commercial EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to see Judy at this place. I've been following her for about 3 years now. Her cut, highlights, and blow-drying skills are beyond phenomenal. My hair is long and very curly, and she gets it under control. I regret changing jobs as I am now too far away to get my hair done on my lunch hour. But please go and see her...she is something else!
i have used eyal for 12 years love going to him-he is the best great haircut,color,blowout and iron he is always pleasant and works very hard
Marc joseph Salon Rocks! – My Hair, My nails, My waxing, I do everything at this place. I come in with my sister at least once a week, , we especially love the cocktails on Thursday and Friday evenings lol I love your new website too (there is a 25% off coupon on there)
