Letter of Complaint: Warning to Future Patients I am writing to warn others about my experience with Dr. Mark Hirsh. In July 2019, I received a steroid injection to the MP joints of my left hand, which contained Pyro Carbon implants. I was not informed of the risks associated with injecting steroids near joint implants. Shortly after, I developed a severe infection in the adjacent PIP joints, requiring multiple surgeries and over 200 days of daily IV infusions.
