Great food and service! We had a wonderful time with superb music on Sunday open mike nite. Ninety eight year old regular, Mickey, told jokes, played trumpet, and sang.
I've eaten here before and it was a good experience, but this is the last time I'll come. We were welcomed into a fairly empty restaurant and given a postage stamp sized table. Fine. Our server was unfamiliar with the menu. Great. I ordered a Caesar salad and was brought a house salad with Italian dressing. I ordered a baked potato and was told there were none, so I asked if the mashed sweet potatoes had cinnamon and was assured that they did not. The atmosphere, food and the people who work there are great. Sunday is open mic night and one never knows who might show up.
Bartenders were great, but table service awful. My son forgot to tell waiter his sides, and the waiter just ordered him something without asking. Also brought wrong entree, when the right item was brought it was so salted that it actually crunched when bitten into. The chicken wings were under cooked and cold when served. With so many other dining choices in marathon we won't be back.
Great dinner last night for BOGO and the Chicken Marsala and Grilled Pork Chop were delicious for $20.00 total. Great entertainment and a great happy hour.
