Dr Maraist discovered that I suffered of migraines ,and was a really good relief for me after ,that my life change, I was very great full he give me the right treatment and I feel like my life has change after that.
Lack of interest, not showing respect
He refused to treat me but did biopsies on me and was very brush and non caring.
Dr Maraist has saved me from unnecessary surgery for my neck. He has been compassionate and always would make me feel like I didn’t need to rush. He has been one of my favorite doctors.
Seizures are a byproduct of an organ transplant and my 70yo wife's was not specifically "in the books", as well as fleeting with no cause suspects and reporting odd attributes to them. All the king's men ... couldn't get a bead on The Solution. This is a very high-IQ doc that doesn't need to drag you into office exams to tweak a solution for you. Waste of time and money. Very disrespectful, rude and discourteous.
Dr Maraist has no intellectual or medical curiosity. After my husband's supposed stroke in June 2019, we kept going back to him telling him that something was wrong. There was an ongoing continual cognitive decline and all we could get from him was "sorry, these things happen." Then my husband had a major stroke in Dec 2019. The neurosurgeon involved in his case said that imaging in August 2019 showed that something was significantly wrong and it should have caused concern as it could have been cancer. terrible, Dana is great but with no after hour service, it is not caring for his patients at all. Little concern or interest shown by him.
I must say I find myself exceedingly disappointed with Dr. Maraist's staff. When I tried to make an appointment for my son they wanted him to go to the Community Health Clinic despite my reassurance that I was more than willing and able to pay whatever amount necessary. It has been several years since he went in but they kept refilling his medicines and I have had several heart surgeries. It is disapponting to know his staff is more interested in insurance money than the patients.
