The unit above me had a leak coming from their toilet ring and it soaked all the way through into my bathroom. While these things happen, there was no compensation whatsoever. The repair took weeks and I was really hoping they would accommodate for the inconvenience. I asked for some sort of discount/compensation on rent and they were slow to respond and did not take even a penny off of that months rent. A month after we applied for an apartment, we had no answer one way or another. Communication was lacking and it was a waste of money to apply here.
Edit: I moved out fairly soon after my initial review. Krystie has gone out of her way to make sure I’ve received misdelivered packages and Dobler was very reasonable about move out costs. I’m still glad I left but I think they have made the move out process as painless as possible. I’ve lived at Maples for just over three years. I am moving out because of the drastic change in management style that coincided with our new building manager, Krystie, taking over.
