About

Located a few blocks from the old City Hall, this traditional corner bar was known as the hub of Atlanta's political scuttlebutt for more than 50 years but is now a homier, neighborhood-type place. The row of cozy booths opposite the room-length bar is a great spot to catch a pint and a Braves game. Several dining rooms set off from the bar make the place much more family friendly than in years past, and the kitchen serves up a surprisingly diverse grille menu. Try the grilled tuna steak with black bean nachos at the Manuel's Tavern, and you will surely return for more.

Manuel's Tavern is one of my favorite bars The food, the booze, and the service is fantastic. Great prices. You got a smoking and nonsmoking section to choose from too, which is nice to have inside Atlanta.

Great for late night This place is a great staple for Atlanta. It is open late. The food is good bar food. There are soo many beers to choose from and the waitresses are nice. Definitely a place to try.

Great for friends This place has been around for a very long time. It is a staple for many Tech students. My friends and I have been going there for well over 3 years. The beer is cheap and the food is decent.

part of Atlanta history This place is an institution, so Iâm really surprised there are no previous reviews. There are a couple of bars plus various meeting rooms. I was in one of the meeting rooms for two different events, and had the same waitress both times. She was very professional, friendly, and brought items out quickly. I think she is used to working with large groups. Food was great, especially for a bar. Large selection of beers. Will definitely be back.

watering hole It seems like I'm here several days a week for various events. Wings are decent but not spectacular, and the burgers are good. Wide beer selection and fair prices. But the best part is the atmosphere and history.

Manuel's is all about the history and heritage and that's all about to be gone. They'll move into a new development that's replacing the building they are in now, but I fear the character will be gone. I hope they can hold onto what made them so good.
