I called this office 2 weeks ago to get an appt (since I don’t like my current endocrinologist). I was told then that I needed a referral. I told them immediately that I don’t have a family doctor to do referral and why I was trying to set a new patient appt (leaving current endocrinologist). I then called current doctor to send records/referral multiple times till it was done.
