Very happy with our results! – Malcolm was our trainer and he did a great job with both of our dogs. Our Cavalier Kings Charles mix, named Molly, really just needed some basic training because she developed little dog syndrome from getting away with many things a large dog wouldn

Great transformation! – Pablo had begun to eat walls destroy the babies? toys and was generally unruly. We were ready to give up. Then we brought Pablo to MBF and everything changed. We never thought our dog could even learn to sit, but he is now an obedient dog. Pablo can finally be trusted with the new baby.

Seriously? – I read these reviews, and think, "Who leaves their dog somewhere that won't allow them to see exactly where their pet will sleep at night?" Who gets a dog or puppy, and then just leaves them at a kennel to be trained. One of the best things for your dog is to have YOU teach them. For those of you who have had negative experiences, I'm sorry. Especially if your dog became ill during their stay. For those of you who have had positive experiences, maybe you should think about what your dog went through. Look at the... read more

Can't even return your call for a consultation – I made two attempts (two different days) to schedule a consultation for training. Both times my name and number were taken because the woman I needed to speak to was on the other line and would have to call me back. THe second conversation I was even given a time frame, "...about five minutes." My call was not returned, not in the five minutes, later on that day, or the next day. Extremely unprofessional. It makes me think...If they neglect potential new customers and cannot r... read more

Can teach an old dog new tricks – Upon returning from Iraq last year I wanted to get a dog, I wanted to rescue not breed so I adopted an abandoned Grown Dog. My angel "Yoshi" had one behavior that worried me. Walking he was aggressive to other animals, every time i walked him we had some kind of issue. I saw the Ad for man's best friend, the advertising addressed military directly which was what brought me in. I met with Malcolm and described the issues we were having and expressed concern about whether i could even afford t... read more

Man's Best Friend? Dog's Worst Nightmare – In January, 2006, I dropped off my chihuahua and shih tzu for boarding here for just over a week. When I returned, they were traumatized and very ill. I took both to the vet the next day. They were initially diagnosed with kennel cough and given medication. A few days later, the chihuahua was coughing so badly, he crawled under the bed, as if to die. I rushed him to an animal hospital emergency room. He was diagnosed with pneumonia. He spent two days in intensive care. I spent over ... read more

Malcom is Our Trainer – Alice, our Boxer, is now 9 months. She has been living the spoiled life since she is the only dog living with two cats. She was not extremely bad but as stubborn as boxers can be, we get frustrated when she does not listen. We knew we had to start some type of training. I have heard of Man's best friend on tv but no one personally could say good or bad things about the facility. We decided to go ourselves and get more information. We did not sign up the first day due to the expense of the training we ... read more

Obedience training & follow up – We decided to add a Bull Mastiff to the family and were concerned with not only how big they become but also the challenges of controlling such a large breed. We wanted to have a safe home along with a well behaved new dog. Unfortunately, we did not have much if any experience in training dogs and began to search for a reputable local business that could help us. Man's Best Friend was recommended to us by a colleague, so we decided to schedule an appointment with them and learn more about wha... read more
