RecommendedGreat place for a haunted escape with the lady or the family. Great grounds and hallways for hide and go seek. Extremely scary when silent and alone.
We stayed one night. Had a great time at the bar. The sliders were amazing. Couldn't get in to watch the music. Too crowded but no big deal. No ghost sightings not did we hear anything but my phone accidently? took the strangest picture. It picked up something I have no explanation for. There were a couple other possible weird photos too. Anyway kinda freaked me out. I really picked up energy. Spooky but peaceful.
I am absolutely having a ball here! it is very nice and old of course. Everyone treats this place with respect at it should be. Our room is nice and comfortable. We are very happy with this place!
My friend and I did a spur of the moment visit to see if we could book a room on a Friday night 2.5 weeks ago. We got room 208: got our luggage all put away, went for a few drinks in the bar and then settled by the fireplace in the bar for about an hour. "Quiet hours" are 10 pm; and we were exhausted after a long day of driving. Did a ghostie walk through of the 3rd floor (most haunted) and took some photos; didn't see anything. Absolutely beautiful! Great hospitality.
Charged a reservation here. Next day I received multiple fraudulent charges on my credit card called Manresa just to make them aware of a potential problem. Upon arrival at hotel subject in front of us was expressing same concern. Upon our check in staff reported they cancelled our reservation because we accused staff of making charges on my credit card.
