I have checked out the other two tailors in town and found them to be overly expensive. Mannikins has proven to be conhsistantly reasonable for a wide range of tailoring. You can't judge on price alone however. And here is where Mannikins is such a value. Not only is the pricing extremely fair, but the level of craftsmanship is excellent. My wife and I have use Mannikins for every kind of tailoring and each and every time, the results have never disappointed us. Rick Levin

Simply a great place to do business. I have used Mannikins' many times over the last couple of years for tailoring and alterations. Each time I have been extremely pleased with the results and the personalized service. Also, being located right downtown couldn't be more covenient.
The alterations made to a sports jacket I brought in made it tantamount to a custom made jacket. I have had clothes tailored in New York and Los Angeles over the past 50 plus years and have found the work done here to be equal to or better than any tailor I have ever been too. I highly recommend their services.
She has done many alterations for me, and does a great job every time. I would never go anywhere else. Highly recommended!
Red Flag on the play. Mannikins looks to be "stacking the Deck" with more "friends" writing the reviews. I first stumbled on to their site on Google and found the same "stacking". This sort of thing really chafes me so I came looking at other site, ie, this one. Too many positives in too short a time. Cry foul. Scott
This business is very clean and organized. The owner seems very knowledgeable with both style and fit. She was friendly and I was very satisfied with the work. I have been there several times and will continue to use them in the future.
While visiting from out of town I ripped my favorite Hudson Jeans. I walked by Mannekins to see if they could repair the jeans that day. The gal was happy to accomodate me and did a terrific job. I can hardly see where the repair was made. I would highly recommend Mannikins.
I take vintage leather wartime jackets to mannikins for repairs and she is the only one I will use and trust because they are very rare and expensive. She does a fantastic job and offers excellent personal service which is rare in this day of a non service oriented marketplace. She IS that "quintessential local shop around the corner"
