Horrible Company! While test driving a truck I was also told that the vehicles go through an inspection, not 800 miles later my engine blew up. I found out from my personal mechanic that if they had just plugged a computer into the truck they would have seen the problem that cost me $5000!! Do NOT buy from Mankato Ford. They will tell you anything to get your money. They also put my trade on the lot for $5000 more than what they had given me..... once again, DO NOT BUY FROM MANKATO FORD!!!
Dishonest salesman While test driving a used car we noticed that it pulled to the left quite a bit. When my husband inquired what problems there might be with the vehicle (they said every car on the lot had been thru an inspection by their mechanics), the salesman said there was nothing wrong with the car; but that it had been sitting on the lot for a while so the tires may have developed a "flat spot" that was causing it to pull to one side. Mankato Ford We have purchased many cars from Mankato Ford and we have had exceptional care and service. We highly recommend them for consumers to check out. They have been good to work with when there are factory concerns and recalls.
I wouldn't buy anywhere else! I have used Mankato Ford for years. My last 3 vehicles came off of the Mankato Ford used car lot. I do my homework and have been happy with the pricing on the vehicles I bought. I even took my daughter up to buy a car through Mankato Ford. She loves it and is happy with the service she has recieved since the purchace.
We purchased a Used car at a premium price (3) days later the transmission went out. I trusted the person I was dealing with foolish or not ...The relevant issue is that the transmission will cost about 2500 to 3000.00.(the vehicle books for 4000.0. I don't see how any moral person let alone a dealership driven by sales and so PEOPLE can conscionably say that hey it's used what did you expect...they have the resources to make this less costly but didn't even offer it...in fact said "that's gonna be costly"...we expect proble... read more
