RecommendedThey are wonderful! The lens on my glasses came apart last night. I called Manhire this morning and Susan arranged to meet me at the office. She took the glasses inside to fix them while my hubby and I waited in the car. She brought them back to me and let me try them on to make sure they fit. The service is outstanding esp. during this pandemic. They are closed but Susan offered to meet me at the office so I could see again. Thank You!!!

Great customer service and a nice selection of glasses
Doug and Sue Manhire (with help from their Labradors Izzy and Maxwell) are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Alyssa, the administrative assistant, and the vastly knowledgeable and skilled Dr. Susan Freed, optician, round out the capable, kind staff. My family has been going to Manhire Optical for decades, and we have no plans to change that!
Sue is so kind and helpful and always welcomes you with a warm and friendly face when you walk in. My family has used them to purchase glasses there and they are always so helpful. They are your true mom & pop local store that should always be supported!

Woke up in the middle of the night, stepped on something and in the morning found my glasses in pieces on the floor. Took them to Manhire Opticians when they opened and they called a couple of hours later and they were all put back together. I had bought them about 12 years ago. And the repair was FREE! Doesn't get any better than that, and I loved playing with the pups there -- so well behaved and just beautiful!
They are great!! Ones you enter you feel welcomed and what’s great is that I finally have no more eye pain!! Thank you guys 😊
