I have had radio frequency ablations on both the left (last month) and right (yesterday) sides of my lower spine after suffering back pain for quite some time. It is still too early to know if it has helped completely, but it does seem some better. I would like to commend the staff at Manhattan Surgical Hospital. All of them have been great, but the ones who assisted with the ablations were the very best. I wish I knew their names, but I don't. My dad in May, and my mom a couple of weeks ago, each had knee replacement surgery here. I can't say enough kind words regarding Dr. McAtee, the surgical staff and the nursing staff afterwards! They were all so kind, knowledgable and showed they truly enjoy their job and their patients. The only complaints my parents had was the food. Not good - but this is out of their control as it comes from Via Christi Hospital. I suggest they put in their own kitchen!

I was in yesterday for radio frequency ablation of my low back at age 21... I am quite a baby, and hardly any pain tolerance.. With anxiety at 100%.. My doctor was amazing, and the nurses were also some of the best.. I wish I could Remember their names but they were all amazing!! Thank you!
