Delicious Happy Hour – I am always looking for new and interesting restaurants in the area. I read the article (and loved the pictures) in Orange Coast Magazine. The owner met me at the bar and was very welcoming. I was there for a light meal, and a cocktail. The happy hour truly is ridiculously inexpensive for the quality of food. The entire bill was 42.00. Let me tell you what I had.. I started with the "Hef". A tall drink made with raspberry vodka and lemonade. I ordered the 5 sampler cheese platter complete with almonds,... read more

Save your money – I read some of the sparkling reviews, and read about this place in the paper so we really were looking forward to trying it. Average food, and not very good service, what more is there to say? There was plenty of parking, as mentioned, and the place did look really nice inside (except for some out place looking paintings). But everything went down hill as soon as we were seated. If you live close by, it might be a neighborhood sort of place to visit, supporting local establishments is the best. But as far t... read more

Great addition to the City of Orange Found out about it thru a friend and tried it out with a couple of foodies friends in May '08, again in July and we all have been going there as a group ever since. Great Lounge atmosphere, Great Drinks, Appetizers and Staff. Dinner upstairs in the Big Red Booths was a treat. The Steak with all those wonderful sauces ie: Blueberry sauce! Yummy!!! It is one of the coolest places to hang out here in North OC and worth the trip.

Nice dining in an area that truely NEEDS it. – My husband and I went there for diner and had a wonderful time. Parking - excellent, service - excellent, food - excellent. Will go again. We will now spend our money between Manhattan Super Club and Nieuport 17th. Both places know how to serve a great steak!

Disappointed – Made a reservationa 3 weeks before our anniversary. When we arrived at the restaurant they had lost it, but could accomodate us. We had eatten often at La Brasserie so we were looking forward to the reopening and curious about the redecoration. Looks like they ran out of money by the time they got to the outside. They did O.K. with the inside, but the outside looks awful. Our food wasn't even average. My husband ordered the short ribs and said the ones I cook at home were a lot better. I had the stuffed pork c... read more

Wow – After reading nothing but good reviews about this restaurant I decided to try it out with some friends. All I can say is the reviews were right on. It was exactly as promised. The design on this restaurant is really cool. They have a few different dining rooms that are each decorated differently, but they're all really cool. The food is FANTASTIC. Everything tastes really fresh and delicious. We were all blown away by their steaks and pretty much everything else. Can't wait to go back.

From beginning to end...Great! – This place hits a home run in every category; the food is phenomenal (it's a steak house but they have a pretty good dinner menu as well a la craft but better i guess); the service backs it up; and it's amazing decor (part hipster/ part hussy is the only way I can describe it). It's a destination spot for sure with no major entertainment anchor near by so it's refreshing to have a dinner house to go early and stay late and not have to deal with parking 3km away. Judging by the reviews I'm not... read more

Best Restaurant in OC!!!! – I love this restaurant!!! The food was spectacular, service was timely and professional and the atmosphere is different in each room to match the decor. What a place for Orange County! If you are looking for a place to take someone and impress them without breaking the bank this is the place for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you is all I can say to who ever owns this restaurant!!!

Great place! steaks are easily better than mortons, ruths chris, etc. the highlight was the price, not nearly as expensive as I thought it would be my wife returned the next day with her co workers from st joes and said lunch possibly better than dinner. this area needed something like this. it's beautiful and well run darn near the best restaurant in orange county
