RecommendedBesides the superior clinical knowledge the team at Manhattan Cat Specialists led by Dr. Sheheri sets the customer care bar so high I would be hard pressed to find another vet practice of the same caliber. I have been a client since 2005 and the quality of the services they provide has never wavered. For example I let them know I may be transferred overseas and Dr. Sheheri on the spot researched EU laws and recommended the appropriate vaccinations, etc.
Look: I am not fooling around with my furry friends' health. I love them dearly. And they give me enormous joy: I will do all I can to keep them healthy and happy. Dr. Shehari is a totally dedicated physician; I know one when I see one. She knows her science; she keeps involved with the latest feline research; she listens to her patient's care giver (me); she is absolutely meticulous. I don't think you can find better.

When Dr. Plotnick left, I was bereft - for my cats. I was so thrilled to find that Dr. Painter carries on the tradition of real intuition in the work that she does and genuine affection and kindness towards her patients. She's another cat-whisperer. The staff is an added bonus - welcoming and reassuring and very competent. I'm very grateful to have this place to go to.
Best veterinarian in nyc. I’ve been to many over the years and many cats but Dr Painter is both a great medical practitioner and warm and loving with my kitty. She actually loves Dr Painter. Specialist with only kittys makes it all work
I was very nervous about my cat. Didn't have a vet. Brought her in and saw the director! My cat was at ease and I was as well knowing that she was getting excellent care. Their follow up is amazing as my cat's treatment is not over yet. I am so happy to have found them! If you have a cat, definitely recommend the Manhattan Cat Specialists.

Manhattan Cat Specialists has been caring for my cats' health since 2001. Dr. Plotnick was extraordinarily knowledgeable and perceptive about every aspect of cat health and treatment, and he settled for nothing less in Dr. Sheheri when she joined the practice. Aside from this, everyone in the practice is tremendously kind and caring, And I have recommended MCS to any number of people. I wouldn't dream of taking my cats anywhere else.
