I don't know why the low star reviews, but I'm here in my 3rd week after Lasik and I can still see. I do still sleep with the goggles though in case I accidentally rub my eyes in the morning but I'm following the post op care and everything seems to be going as I was told it would. Occasional dry eyes, sensitivity to light, etc. Here is to hoping that I take care of my eyes to get to that 20/20. Both my wife and I were caught up in the carnival barker scheme and had MonoVision Lasic done the same day. A very expensive, disappointing choice, both of our eyes feel ruined a year later, with many issues. The doctors that saw us on our annual post op visit reacted with amazement, then disgust that we could be so naive when the eye test said we were doing great. This place is a scam. I rushed in because I thought there were only 14 coupons available. (Thats what I heard on the radio). But come to find out, there is NO discount. It's just a sales tool to get you into his practice. Then he tried to sell me ALL kinds of stuff I don't need. He bragged the whole time about all the girls he dates. He's a weirdo and I won't be back!
I had Lasik in one eye and regret it. I have daily pain and dry eye. My eye also will suddenly tear. I cannot touch my eye, much less rub it because the pain can be intense. After I had the one eye done, I felt they kept trying to rush me to do the other. I'm glad I waited but regret having done the first eye.
