They don’t accept Medicare despite claiming to be “for the community” and marginalized groups. As a disabled queer person, getting an automated email and zero compassion, is not it. No offers of sliding scale, either, just a list of other providers to contact, when their group is listed as taking Medicare. I’m really tired of the virtue signaling and silence whenever I try to get medical help from groups that claim to help those with low income. If you only help people with good insurance, then who are you really helping?
I would like to say that reviewing someplace based on political views isn't valid. They're a good doctors office, the person who handles the phones? Unbelievably kind and gentle. As someone with pretty severe anxiety, the whole process of getting into this doctor has been lovely <3. I will update once I have more appointments.
